Re: Brad Childress Fired
That team is a complete mess anyway. Not sure it will make a difference either way.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
shat ... i hope this doesnt turn into a jim haslett rams type game now.
we have no film or idea what they are going to do now. im assuming they will keep things basic and vanilla menaing lots of screens and runs for AP which sucks for us b/c i think our best chance to win, and win big, was with them letting favre throw the ball.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
WOW.
I knew it was coming...but not in-season. They're a mess. We'll destroy them. I hope. The players were really against him...they could be jacked up to have him gone now. Harvin is nicked up again and unproductive...but Sidney Rice came back this week and contributed a little. I don't think their passing game is much of a threat. If we can stop AP from scoring and strip the ball a time or two, we should be able to contain them. We let CJ run for 130 (was going to happen anyways) but we kept him from scoring. Same plan this week.

DAMN,... well now back to watching the Rock vs Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 17.
Tough stuff Brad, he'll catch on somewhere next year.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Someone pointed out elsewhere that if they were smart they would keep Childress and his losing ways and get top billing for the 1st round pick to get a decent QB which would probably lure in a good coach also knowing he can pick a QB of his choice.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Man, this sucks! I was just thinking about this as I looked at our schedule, then I get on the Warpath & this is the fist thing I saw. this doesn't bode well for us, like Dallas they are a talented team that has its issues. Hopefully the interim coach will have a terry robiske like start this weekend.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Yeah after being forced to watch the Vikes and Packs yesterday ( I live in Rochester aka nfl purgatory) I was thinking well at least we get to play a Vikings team that clearly has given up on their head coach.....oh well we gotta strap on the Helmets and hit peterson in the backfield, once he gets past that line of scrimmage its usually at least 7 yards.

It was just a matter of time and yesterday sealed his fate.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Leslie Frazier is the new HC for the Vikes.
Never heard of her.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Chilli just got extended last year so he's getting paid next year and maybe the year after. Sucks to get fired in the NFL...kinda.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
No more Chili con carne. We'll be in for a battle next week, as Frazier will have his team fired up.
