Re: Clinton Portis Loves Practice
Good news...but I can't help but to laugh at the thought.
CP could have changed...he has a lot to prove with all of the criticism he's getting, like people here saying he should be outright cut. Whether he's being genuine or not, it's great to see him giving kids a good example rather than the "avoid practice and preseason at all costs" guy we've seen in the past. Also, for the first time ever, he has legitimate heat from backups. Ladell Betts was no Larry Johnson, even an older LJ.

That is good stuff. Always love seeing those kind of videos. Kids having fun, players enjoying lending their time.

Re: Clinton Portis Loves Practice
If he is being sincere, then all I can say is that Portis has changed from last season. I did not take him to be the kind of guy who likes working with kids. Good for him if this is genuine. I hope he isn't just using that camp as a way to get some cheap good publicity....

Re: Clinton Portis Loves Practice
CP might have a future in coaching, at least with kids. He seems really great with them and you can see he enjoys it.

LOL. I honestly laughed when I read this, not going to lie. I'm glad Portis is at practice and working out and helping out with the kids, good to see.

Re: Clinton Portis Loves Practice
My point wasn't well put in that statement. I only mean that based on what i've saw of him with the media, his attitude as a whole, and his former negativity (which may have been understandable with the Zorn debacle), he did not strike me as the type of person who would enjoy coaching or teaching others, especially kids.
I am praising him for his work now if what he is doing is genuine. I hope that it is. I hope that clarifies things.

The new and improved CP. Good to see a compassionate side of him, the atmosphere seems to bring out a side we haven't seen.

I'm going to love seeing his prima-donna ass getting benched and cut. I can't wait until Foozeball season!

Coaching kids is great, you've got to have a ton of patience but it's definitely rewarding.
