Baltimore final OTA's cancelled

Don't have much information, here is the tweet:

Adam_Schefter

NFL has cancelled the last week of the Ravens’ organized team activities due to team violating practice rules of the CBA.

anymore info would be great.

Re: Baltimore final OTA's cancelled

Someone (or someones) complained that there was contact in what should have been non-contact drills and that practices were too long

Re: Baltimore final OTA's cancelled

How are they going to survive? The OTA's are sooooo important! Ask JLC. This must mean the team will fall apart and the players will not know the system, they will not true be a team.
How terrible.
Is NFL network and JLC doing a special hour long show?

that was my guess/hunch too. im not sure if foxworth or matt birk is the team player rep. i know birk was heavily involved in that stuff in minn, i know foxworth is a book worm nerd who is also very involved on the player rep side of things as well. i think foxworth is one of like 5 nfl players on a special committee?

i could see foxworth being the one since the guy's basement is totally dedicated to the Supreme Court and history. i could see him being a stickler for the rules, thinking extra contact or longer hours is a violation of labor laws, union agreement, CBA, etc and it was his duty to blow the whistle.

driving in to work today, local bmore radio was opining that harbaugh could have done it on purpose for bragging rights. "yeah we got busted for practicing to hard but we are the baltimore ravens and we only know how to play ravens footbal which is physical and tough."
