Skins vs. Bengals Predictions

Skins in another close one 20-10, they finally top the 18 point mark but not by much. Brunell turns in another gutsy performance and lights up the Bengals secondary for more than 100 yards.

The Bengals have one of the worst run D's in the league so it should be another big day for Portis. I say 30 carries for a buck fifty and a TD.

Our D shuts down Rudi Johnson and gets 2 picks off Palmer.

A big day for Portis = W
225, 2 TDs (90% of our offense).
Skins win 14-3.

Skins win 28 - 9.

I think Brunell is going to blow up in this game. He'll pass for more than 200 yds and Portis will rush for over 200 and put him at 1000 yds. Coles and Gardner will each have a TD catch.

Defense will be awesome once again. Taylor will have a big game.

As I posted on another board, Redskins win 16-10, Prits a big game, defense scores a TD, Brunell throws for less than 25 yds, Gibbs petitions for his jersey to be retired for being the most courageous QB in Redskins history.

Bengals take a 7-3 first half lead. Redskins rally back to score 18 points in the second half and win the game 21-7

Portis runs for a buck forty and 1 TD. Griffin forces a fumble that Washington scoops up and runs in for the game clinching TD. But the play of the game will be 3rd and 9 inside the red zone, Brunell looks around, checks off his receivers, is about to throw it away-then suddenly he decides to tuck it in and run. He dives headfirst into the endzone to give the Skins their first lead of the game.

He then proceeds to celebrate by mocking Hines Ward's mocking of TO's mocking of Ray Lewis' intro dance.

I think Brunell has his best game. The offensive line will allow him time to throw down field successfully. The special teams has an agenda to give the offense great field position to start it's drive. This will be the key to our win. The shorter the drive, the better chance of scoring three TD's for the first time this year. What I have noticed about Brunell is he needs to score early and often in the first half of the game so that Portis and the defense will be able to run the time out successfully. If we can go up by 2 TD's and a field goal by half time which is pushing the envelope, it will give us the momenum going into the second half. Redskins 24, Bengals 13 Hail to the Redskins!!!

All day and all night.

Big day from Portis, but it won't be enough. Skins lose this one 14-10. Too much inconsistency with the skins right now. Would love to see this team win two straight, but current history suggests this just wont happen.

God, I hope I am wrong, but I just have this feeling.

Have you no confidence in the 1# defense? Don't look at the non-existent passing game and think that will be the deciding factor. Have you looked at the Bengals defense against the run? You should. It's not that great. The passing game will the main feature in the first half. Gibb's wants to see this team throw a couple of TD's. Doesn't matter who throws them. Could Portis, or Gardner. Special teams will have an even better game. If anything the Bengals are too inconsistent to win.

I think the skins will lose 17-21 because it seems the refs love to hoe us at home.
If we a have a decent ref crew which i doubt in washington we win 9-3. At home the defense has been facing 2 oponents (the refs with weak calls, and our incosistant offense) while the offense has to fight 2 ( themselves and refs).

We have the talent on O to be a offensive juggernaut, when they realize that and stop making stupid mental mistakes we'll win. but lewis will put everything in the box and try to force us to throw, which means problems.
