Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
Guys, believe when I say that he's not going to be the reason IF they go to the playoffs. Great guy, love him to death, but we're not going to be worse because we let him go.

Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
Good for rock. Always liked the guy. I remember the game we lost to dallas in part to a rock fumbe at the goalline. Rock apologized to the locker room after the game. Just very endearing.
Seems rock and JC are good friends, I remember seeing the csn video of rock and JC watching the shannahan press conf at JCs house. I still dont know who is going to replace rock on special teams. He made alot of nice tackles last year. We lost khary campbell 2 years ago who i considered a special teams ace as well. I know we arent going to see portis, johnson or parker cover kicks and punts and carrying a 4th rb might not be an option. Good luck rock, thanks for bleeding the b n g!

Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
Always liked Rock. But it feels good to finally be moving forward with big changes on the field and not just in the FO. Looks like MS is wasting no time in making this his football team.

Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
Anybody know how many rb's Oak. has now? I wonder what Rock's chances are of making the team? His spec. team work is his meal ticket, he never was much of a rb & now he's 30.

Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
I think Oakland should win atleast 7 games this yr. JC should have a decent year (17 TD'S) or so, and their D is very solid. No WR'S though and D-MAC is a D-BUST

Re: Rock Cartwright to join Raiders
Al Davis is a special teams player bloodhound, even though Rock isn't that great of an athelete and too much of a character guy.
