Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
With the NFL Combine underway, FA looming, and all the draft talk it's time to put together the best Mock Draft out there.....
The Warpath Mock Draft 2010 Here's the deal: 1) The Mock Draft will be a full 7 rounds. It will start on Monday, March 15th at 8am EST and will go until April 2nd at 10pm EST. Hopefully we'll be finished well before that. 2) We are looking for 32 GMs and 8 alternates. If all 32 GMs do their jobs the alternates will not get to draft, however if a GM is hindering the draft he will be replaced with an alternate. 3) It is each GMs responsibility to check the thread and make a pick within 2 hours of being "on the clock". You are "on the clock" when the previous pick is made. The draft will be running from 8am to 10pm EST daily. If you know you have a conflict and can't make it, PM me with your pick or a short list of players to pick (in order), and I will add it to the thread when your pick comes up. If we don't do this we'll never get the draft done. I'm not going to be a time-nazi, but the last time we tried this there were a couple of issues, so I feel it's best to address it up front. 4) We will take the first 32 requests to be a part of the Mock Draft as GMs and the next 8 as alternates. You may request a single team. If there are multiple requests for a team, those requests will be put into a hat and one pulled out to get that team. The others will go into the hat for the remaining teams. Team selection will be totally random otherwise. You cannot request the Skins, that will be a random selection. 5) Trades will be allowed. However trades will only be for 2010 draft picks, no current team players, no future draft picks. No trades of a player already drafted. The trade must be balanced close to the pick value chart. Walters Football Site: NFL Draft Value Chart If you decide to sign up, please put forth some effort. Research your team, team needs, and the players in the draft. We want this to be the best Mock it can be. If you want to participate, just respond to the thread. I'll be running the draft and will have a team (not the Skins).

Hey guys, I was going to offer to take the Saints, but I'll actually be on my honeymoon when the draft begins and then trying to buy a house when I get back, so I'll likely have to be an observer.

Errr, maybe I don't know if I'd want to do 7 rounds.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
I trade my entire draft right now for Ricky Williams. That's all that I have time for.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
I'll take the Vikings (first choice), Panthers (2nd), Cardinals (3rd), or the Cowboys.
However, i must warn you that you assign me the Cowboys, I will attempt to trade all of my picks for the #1 overall selection, with which i will draft a kicker.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
That's why I can't do mocks. I'm too biased for the Skins.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
One other way to do it if you can't get 32 people, is assign divisions to people. I think that's how we did it a couple of years back. So one person can be responsible for the NFC East, another the AFC East, etc.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - 2010
I thought about doing it but am not always near or able to get on my computer on weekends. I do know I'll be away in Baltimore all day on 03/20, so that 2-hour thing is keeping me from being able to commit. During the week, I'm always at computers though.
I was thinking of taking Buffalo for the laughs (and challenge).
