Best 1rst round since 83?

Charlie Casserly says this may be the best first round since 1983 when Dan Marino and Darrell Green were drafted. He includes some thoughts on Bradford, and that McCoy may be catching up to Clausen.

Yeah..I'm not sure exactly what he disagrees with. Casserly is in touch with a lot of people around the NFL who will be deciding who goes where during the draft. It sounds like the top 2 rated QB's in the draft won't work out at the combine. I find it interesting that he says McCoy might catch up to Clausen. Should be interesting to see who rises and who falls during the combine.

Cmon 53, admit it, you're just a football geek and would be excited if it was the worst draft ever too!

Casserly doesn't know jack. I'll take the wisdom of some armchair GM on an internet message board any day over him.

Catch up to Clausen, I thought McCoy was already ahead?!

How dare the national media not just assume that I'm right

This post just makes the tongue-in-cheek post that follows look bad.

Re: Best 1rst round since 83?

This is the NFL hype machine building up the draft. Ever year I hear it is as good as the class of 83. Though I do agree CC did have some nice inputs.

I think Bradford will be off the board come pick number 4.

Actually I'm a real, freelance GM. I have zero experience in an NFL personnel operation but I'm open to any job offers.

I disagree with what the thread title question is, is this the "Best 1rst round since 83?" No it is not the best first round since 83
