2010 opponents, first thoughts
Here is the official list for next year:
2010 opponents set: Home: Phil, NYG, Dal, GB, Min, Hou, Indy, TB. Away: Phil, NYG, Dal, Chi, Det, Jax, Ten, Stl. I hope we get our Oline fixed... And are we doomed to play StL and Det forever, that alone shows how far we have fallen. |

Re: 2010 opponents, first thoughts
We were going to play Detroit no matter how we played this year. Well, I see 11 losses. The funny thing is that I can only see 3 wins.

Given that several of those teams might have new coaches, it is hard to know what to say, except that we had better go 2-0 against StL and Det.

Our home opponents are freakin tough....away teams seem easier..so I think that is a positive

Detroit, Tampa, St. Louis; looks like 3 wins there.
Oh wait in 09 we had Tampa, St. Louis, Detroit and KC and only got 2 wins out of that quartet...

Re: 2010 opponents, first thoughts
i just hope we make some good moves this year which leads us to a 6-10 season, if we finish better than 8-8 that would be incredible, i'm looking at the next two years as building years and expect to not make it to the playoffs til 2012, if we do it before then that would also be incredible

Crap, every year we have to face New York, Dallas, and Philly. Whats the deal? If only there was a concept to explain this unexplainable paradigm.

Re: 2010 opponents, first thoughts
I'm placing my bet that we either start off with Houston, Tampa, or Tenn.
I know we have started with the Giants two yrs in a row and the possibilities of us playing another NFC East team is bigger then life, but if half the staff comes in from Houston I can see the NFL setting us up for a first meeting. Drama. I can see Tampa if Cowher gets picked up by them or Tenn. cause of a somewhat rivalry between Denver and Tenn. Or I could be completely wrong and we play the Giants again. |
