Hrmp, we aint getting much respect, even with the #2 defense....

We could argue that we deserve to be ranked higher, but you have to factor in everything including the most important W-L. That's why they put us at the bottom of the pack. Until our offense wins a game for us I don't think that we'll see any drastic changes in the polls. I think the experts are correct in pointing out that we're not a very balanced team right now. Although IMO with the way our defense is playing we could hang with any of the teams in the middle of the pack. Looking at the remaining schedule the 49'ers are the only team ranked below us. So it won't be easy the rest of the way. On the bright side though we could move up very quickly if we get on a winning streak.

Somebody wrote in one of these power ranking threads that they are a barometer of where teams are right now, not a prediction of where they should, or will be. So, with our 2-4 record and lack of offense, I'd have to agree with putting is around 20-22, for now. Once we get the passing game going, break 20 points in a game, and start really winning games rather than losing or almost losing them, we should shoot up pretty quick.

at 2-4 and with such bad STs and passing game, i'll take what they give us and hold off on the b****ing until i feel i got a reason...

The media loves ripping the Redskins because of Dan Synder's spending. But if you look at baseball, the Yankees are getting praise, especially from people from ESPN.

its cause dan came in and started making stupid decisions real quick, he's young, he's rich, and he didn't leave football to the football people... he's definately learning, and while he's not perfect, a winning record is the only thing that'll stop the danny bashing.

the yanks get praise cause they win... if they didn't, do you honestly think people would be so nice about all that wasted money diving into a black hole??
