Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
Been in contact with the younger brother of Santana and Sinorice Moss. Going to make some figures for them and he is going to have both Santana and Sinorice sign some stuff for me for to sell. Was thinking some pictures and mini-helmets. Problem is Sinorice stuff won't sell as he hardly plays so only going to send 2 or 3 Giants mini's and sell them cheap. Is Santana popular enough that it would be worth it to send 5 or 6 Skins mini's? Figured I'd also send a couple of Miami mini-helmets to have them both sign. So long as my prices aren't too ridiculous, will I be able to sell Santana auto'd skins mini-helmets or will the cases collect dust in my closet?

Re: Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
I think at this point in his career, he isn't uber-popular, but it would be nice to try and sell some figures...

He's probably remains more popular among "the U" fans than Redskins fans though. That should be factored in as well. He'll probably still be popular when he departs after the 2010 season. He's well buffered by a coaching staff that is really not well liked by the fanbase, and a quarterback who most still sympathize with, but don't really consider external factors for what has helped make and break him. In short: when the team wins, Santana gets his due, but when the team loses, he gets largely forgotten by the fanbase.

Re: Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
Santana seems to disappear in some games this year, but he's still had a nice skins career. Overall, I'd say he's in the 2nd tier of Skins in popularity. I don't see his jersey nearly as much as Cooley & Portis.

I'd also get some mini footballs signed by JC and hang them 4 feet over the mini helmets would be about right.

Re: Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
I guess you have to ask yourself how much are you going to sell these for? If you trying to sell them for about 50.00 or so, you might have them priced about right. I think that a mini costs around 15.00-25.00 for the helmet and you could probably move it autographed for about 45.00-50.00. I think that is what I have seen them at shows for anyway. Cool that he contacted you to make a figure. Really awesome. Hope that it works out and you show the pictures when you are done.

Re: Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
I consider myself to be a bigger Moss fan than most ... even at this point, I'm kind of ready to move on from him.... but for me personally, he's given me some of my favorite Redskins moments... I dont know what prices you're looking at, but I wouldnt pay anymore than like $40 bucks for one... (but I dont think I'd pay more than $40 for any player on the Skins' right now)... I'm just not that interested in purchasing autographs anymore.

Re: Question about Santana Moss's popularity...
The only thing I want Santana "Punch A Guy In The Helmet" Moss to sign is a contract with another team.
