Re: steven seagal-lawman
Here's a great Seagal quote: "I am hoping that I can be known as a great writer and actor some day, rather than a sex symbol." Good luck with that.

Re: steven seagal-lawman
are you talking about William Shatner or Steven Seagal? (at least Bill had Heather Locklear on TJ Hooker)

Re: steven seagal-lawman
If I remember correctly, Steven Segal has been serving as a deputy sheriff/police officer for sometime now in his native state. It's been at least 10 years. His martial arts ability has never been questioned, but i can tell you that his lawman status is legitimate.
I hope the show doesn't provide too much fluff. But it's inevitable that somebody trys to fight him or something and gets pwoned.

Re: steven seagal-lawman
There was a time when Seagal made a.....decent action film. Then, he went...Nicholas Cage?

Re: steven seagal-lawman
No you can't question his martial arts skills, and he even seems to be quite the sharp shooter with a pistol. The funny thing is how serious he takes himself, and how serious the show is. Think 'Cops' with a bloated Steven Seagal riding shotgun.

if anyone else actually watched it did you notice how unreasonably sweaty he got shooting guns on a range, but he is a damn good shot, not to mention his sweet ass collection of hand guns

Re: steven seagal-lawman
he is pretty damn bloated, but when he was doing some of his martial arts that crap was pretty impressive, he is still pretty quick

Re: steven seagal-lawman
Sometimes i think maybe Segal's "ego" and seriousness all the time might be almost a self parody. He seems like a nice enough guy, and he's even spoofed himself in a few things(Mountain Dew Commercial, The Onion Movie, etc..).
People who know him say good enough things about him. I know a long time ago he had connections to the mafia, but i think that was resolved long ago.. He actually looked in OK shape for his last couple of DVDs that came out in 2008, but he looks a little paunchy again. It's a shame because he's at an age where he could get in good shape again easily...

Re: steven seagal-lawman
All I know is if I was a cop, I would be in the best shape I could be. Did you see him try to run last night? He could barely jog.

Re: steven seagal-lawman
Maybe he'll use the show to hock his multi-aluminum album Songs from the Crystal Cave
