That's not really something that you can argue with. Portis will be a huge improvement.

Portis is a beast, and I think a lot of people are severly underestimating our O Line. We have a ton of talent and the man that will get every ounce of talent out of it!

Did you see the size of Portis' neck at that news conference?? It looks bigger than my friggin legs (and they're not small). This guy should be an animal for the skins!!! I'm sure looking forward to this season!!!

Pastabelly's really the only major critic of what the skins have done this offseason. And after his last couple of articles I'm ready to write his fatass off entirely. Most of the big polls I've seen show the skins as "most improved" Kornheiser, Clayton, even Rome are hailing the return of the King, and the bold moves he's made.
The crit that Snyder's been trying to "buy" a Super Bowl since becoming owner is a widespread one, and not baseless, but still- owners who behave the same way and win are just called "aggressive" or "winners" And the salary cap nightmares he likes to wish on the Redskins will never live up to his predictions. The cap increases, the cap can be managed. But ol Pastabelly sounds like he's praying for a failure b/c Snyder won't let his buddy Vinnie pick the starters. Personally, I like to imagine him shut-in at home, in a mumu, poking at his keyboard from the couch with a stick. Call me hateful. Last edited by Spearhead; 03-09-2004 at 11:27 PM. |

This is a no-brainer. All the pundits who said the Skins got ripped off will either eat their words or deny they said them. I believe Portis is going to rip the NFC East apart. We've never seen a RB of this caliber in a Redskins uniform, and that's saying something.

A few short years ago it was Stephen Davis, late in the first round, last year, someone got P. Ramsey.
