Week 9: Around the NFL

Didn't see this thread started, and although Sunday is almost over I'm sure folks are watching the Cowgirls/Iggles game.

Re: Week 9: Around the NFL

This game features the only two units in the NFC East that aren't flawed: the Cowboys power running game, and the Eagles defense.

Iggles D has some people out, they showed two of their players running into each. I think Westbrook is out, no?

Ugh, why do I get the feeling Dallas is going to win this one, and we have to hear the media orgy tomorrow gushing about them.

The Iggles just move their left guard to left tackle now that they've lost Peters...that sounds something the Redskins would do.

Because Philly is playing with half an O-Line and McNabb should be posting in Drunk Thread right now?

Josh Freeman played really well, especially in the second half. Green Bay's offensive line makes ours look half-decent.

Re: Week 9: Around the NFL

Freeman's going to have down days in this league, but through this one game he's been the only one of the rookie QBs worth a damn to his team as a rookie.

Who would have thought? Oh, that's right, me.

Re: Week 9: Around the NFL

Is it somewhat bittersweet to see the Cowgirls winning? With all of the available HC candidates out there when the season is over this would pretty much remove them from the bidding wars if they make the playoffs and make a short run. I couldnt see JJ giving Wade the boot if they win one in the postseason. It sickens me to say this but i have to make the best of our situation somehow.

I hope they hang on to Wade for whatever reason. Marshmallow Man makes the Cowboys more comical, if nothing else.
