Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
Looks like our DC is sick of the relentless owner-bashing. I still think it's fun.
Greg Blache, Washington Redskins defensive coordinator says enough Snyder bashing - ESPN

Haha, I can't imagine who is worst: Al Davis or Dan Snyder.

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
I guess I can understand his position. But I also noticed that not once did he defend any criticism against VC, didn't even mention him. I think that absence alone speaks volumes.

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
So what are the chances we get a whole bunch of out of context quotes on this article from Redskins Insider? I found a few:
"There is nobody that wants to win here" and "everything that is wrong with this organization is...Dan Snyder." |

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
I said this in another thread but Riggo did cross a line. Blache is right on here.

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
'Enough is enough'!
Really? How about 10 years of mismanagement? Eight years ov Vinny Ceratto. When is 'enough is enough' with the Snyderatto style of running a franchcise? I guess Blache is throwing his name in the 2010 HC position when Zorn gets fired...by kissing some ass. Someone needs to remind Blache he has only been here a few years and he has not earned the right to run his mouth on this subject. Nobody is accusing Snyder of being a miser. Yes he gives some of his millions he earns off the Redskins and their fans to charity. That does not make him a good Football operations guy. Blache is just stirring the shit storm again. |

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
Good for Blache. Riggo crossed a line that should not have been crossed. I'm no great fan of DS but I'm glad that someone spoke up.

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
Yeah, i highly doubt blache wants anything more than to just go back into retirement and use that shotgun of his inscribed by the DS.
with that being said, joe gibbs pushed for greg blache and is probably in the DS's eyes a faction of joe gibbs whom he honestly does seem to look up to. and im sure the DS took greg and his wife to nice dinners, probably over to the DS mansion in potomac and other courtship niceties in hopes to bring him on board. so of course to greg the DS is a nice, generous man. the DS respects and honors greg blache b/c he is a figment of joe gibbs whom he idolizes. imo the DS had to win over greg blache. and he does that by being the nicest most humble billionaire greg balche (or any other target of the DS) has ever met. unlike jim zorn, whose honeymoon of being treated with respect and humility is over, greg blache gets an unlimited amount of the "nicest most humble billionaire" persona of the DS b/c of his ties to joe gibbs. (edit - and he's doing a decent job of bend dont break defense).

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
Riggo just sais some stupid things. He did on his radio show and he continues to do so. He's just "out there" a little. I don't even pay attention to what he sais half the time and i didn't on his Snyder bash.
I like what Blache said. It's has gotten a little overboard lately. DS isn't the devil and he's not Mother Theresa either. He wants to win and he wants to make money. |

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
Eff Greg Blache...
If he had to make special circumstances to not talk to the media then DON"T TALK TO THE MEDIA! No one wants to hear what your old ass has to say anyway. His opinion on Dan Snyder is just as biased as someone who hates him...Riggo in this case. What Blache said makes no sense and it's certainly strange to see him pipe up after having to file with the league so he could not speak. People are entitled to their opinions of what they think of the owner and Danny will soon come to the realization that you can't buy EVERYONE's opinions or good graces. What it boils down to is this...One is not known by their words, but rather for their deeds. Whatever deeds that Snyder has transgressed within the past 10 years of his ownership seem to be rearing its head right now. If he doesn't want to be accountable, ON AND OFF THE FIELD, then step back and bring in a GM that has FULL AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY.

Re: Greg Blache: Stop the Snyder Bashing
If he's speaking from a fan standpoint I would say that's easy for him to say. He does not have to travel out of state, neither does he have to pay to attend the games. The man is paying him, what more would you expect him to say, if he says anything at all? He and Bugel walk with their arm around Snyder's shoulder. Come on Mannnnn.
