No because it's not our WR's for the 100th time lol.. It's our Garbage QB and INJURED oline. If we had Brees or Romo (basically anyone besides JC or Russell) I guarantee our young receivers would be making big strides..

Cut one fail for another fail.

Sounds like a plan.

You so sure about that? Our young receivers haven't exactly been the model of professionalism since arriving. Kelly and Thomas report to their first camp out of shape. Davis and Thomas couldn't get on the field because they didn't earn coaches trust that they knew the playbook. Then when they've had chances to make plays, they've rarely come through. The slow progression of our young recievers is more on them than JC in my opinion.

Your right their garbage too. WR, QB and Oline are all garbage. Our RBs are just outside the garbage heap as well. Thanks Vinny/Snyder!

I thought he had some great years in miami. Not the most sure handed, but made some big plays. ESPN said last night there's 2.25 mil left on his deal this year, so any team picking him up will have to pay that. They mentioned Miami & Baltimore as possibilities.

They only pay him that is he does NOT clear waivers. If they pick him up off the waiver wire, then they factor that amount in.

If no one claims him off waivers by COB today, then he is a free agent, that money goes away and contract negotiations begin anew.

I do not see him getting a deal for anything more than this year though. IF a player is on your week 1 roster, you are on the hook for his salary for the entire league year. Even if he is released in week 2.

By signing him to a one year deal (after week 1 of the regular season is in the books), if he does not work out, they can release him and not sustain any hit to the future cap,

He had some decent seasons but he's not much more than a glorified Rod Gardner. For every spectacular play, he drops too many of the routine ones.

Re: Chris Chambers released by Chargers

His best season was his rookie year. He had some other 1,000 yard 8-10 TD years (year?), but those were years where he was seeing 60% of the offense thrown his way, frankly, anyone could have done that.

I think he could get open a lot better than our current WR corps, but what's the point if he's just going to Lloyd the football.

How long has JC been playing for the skins and how long can we keep making excuses for him. Every new year comes new excuses.
