Re: Panthers Questions for Tony McGee
Tony, the sky has fallen!
Does the chaos, and poor play we see fall upon talent evaluation, and coaching? If it does, what should be done to restore order and get back on the path to righteousness? Please Tony.....I beseech you.........

Dear Tony,
Why do we suck? Can you buy the team and make this better?

Re: Panthers Questions for Tony McGee
As far as the offensive scheme; what is the point in keeping receiving options out of the actual play?
Are the plays being so directed at single players? It's obvious that we're using DT in to open up other receivers, but I don't think that he commands that yet. What does it take from our offensive game plan to actually get our receivers.. new AND old to be involved? Thanks Tony.. ALWAYS appreciated Last edited by tryfuhl; 10-12-2009 at 04:20 PM. |

Re: Panthers Questions for Tony McGee
Greetings again Tony,
How do you see the next couple of weeks going up and including the bye week regarding our coaching staff? Do you see our current staff in place coming out of the bye? Thankyou.........HTTR

Honestly, no questions. Just want to hear what Tony thinks and what he sees going forward.

Re: Panthers Questions for Tony McGee
1) Why is Zorn so in love with the Stretch play when it has been unsuccessful in key situations this year.
2) Where are the different formations? We're either in a basic I, or a basic 3WR, TE set about 80% of the time. Where's the Bunch, Trips, 4WR, 4WR Tight, etc. Our motions are also very predictable. 3) What's your take on benching Rinehart? It appeared he was solid and improving week-to-week. Zorn/Bugel put in MW and this disrupts the chemistry beginning to develop with Rinehart & Heyer. Now Zorn mentions moving Heyer to LT, MW to RT for next week. Instead of stability at 4 positions, you've created instability across the line with this move. 4) Unless there's a drastic change over the next two weeks, do you see Zorn surviving the Bye week?

Re: Panthers Questions for Tony McGee
How bad is the relationship between Rogers and management? (given his "starts at the top" comment coupled with last year's benching and Hall's outrageous payday). Are we going to lose him to free agency? should we? would we franchise him in an effort to trade him?
Why does Zorn seem so lost? the wasted timeouts, the poor challenges, the lack of general situational awareness (there is plenty of evidence)- he just seems to get flustered in tough times...comments? will danny ever fire vinny? who is coaching next year? what is your prediction for the rest of the year?
