The O-Line ain't doing fine
The same thing every daggon week aand it's tiring me out a little bit. The O-line wasn't holding the pash rush well really at any point in the game. The line never creates big creases for Portis. I think there are a lot of things wrong right now...it's been a hard night

OL does suck but its hard for 5 guys to go on 8 every down.
Spread the field. Bring in the Ramsey cannon.

As I said on another thread, the O-line is the #1 problem....not protecting the QB and not opening up decent holes for the running game. Because of this, I completely agree with bringing in "the Ramsey cannon." For two main reasons:
1. Samuels may not be quite where he used to be (yet), but he would be a hell of a lot better than Jones/Brown at protecting the blind-side. 2. "The cannon" will be able to get the ball down the field, which will help the running game by keeping them from putting 8 in the box. Ramsey's gun can also get the ball to the receivers quicker, even with shorter passes. Also, I'd much rather see a couple INT's in opposing territory rather than fumbles in ours. |

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why left tackles can't play right tackle (vice-versa) to protect left-handed quarterbacks?
I think It would be kind of cool to have both Chris Samuels and Randy Thomas on the same side of the line (the blind side in this case)

Switching guys around at this point is only going to add to the confusion.

I'm just kinda wondering what kind of difference that would make, and not that they should switch now, but why they never considered changing it up while they were still in preseason.

I think it has something to do with footwork and speed, Ray Brown and Kenyatta Jones are just too slow to play LT....but I could be wrong
I say we bring back Brandon Winey
