Now What??
So we just suffered possibly the worst loss in franchise history, and have dropped to 1-2 (could very easily be 0-3). The offense looks flat out bad, and the defense got gassed big time, especially in the 1st half. And our secondary is pretty darn bad by the way.
So, what do we do? Knee jerk is to just fire Zorn. We don't just look average, we look lost, uninspired, and we seem to be regressing. That's on the coach. If you're calling the shots, what do you do to fix the Redskins? Measured steps? Blow it all up and start over? Obviously our current path isn't working at all, on either side of the ball. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results....

Re: Now What??
Can't fire Zorn unless you are ready to toss in the towel on the entire season.

Re: Now What??
I say sticking with Zorn is like tossing in the towel,is there a worse coach in the nfl? not in my mind.I dont give a shit who the interim is,it would be hard to be as bad as Zorn

Re: Now What??
Zorn must go w/o question. I'm not advocating a new coach brought in...make Buges the interim HC for the season or something similar. The important thing is to get Zorn as far away from the headset as possible. His playcalling and overall coaching performance is like a cancer...it just spreads the worst possible scenarios around the field every time we get the ball.

Re: Now What??
You probably don't want to fire Zorn before the second home game, but if you start 1-3, you can't really afford to waste the rest of the season.
Really though, the only other coach on the staff who is qualified to be a head coach is Jerry Gray. You can't get rid of Zorn and keep Blache. This team is poorly coached because of the both of them.

Re: Now What??
If I'm Danny, I am calling my man JG, and looking for some wisdom. I seriously would begin to evaluate what to keep and what (and who) to toss. Barring MAJOR positive change in the near future, I would execute that plan.
I personally think I would be looking at ditching Vinnie, and go from there. Start or consider a sweep of some kind from the top. Keep the good pieces and look at losing the not so good. For the money and time Danny has in this team.....the results ARE NOT THERE..

To me, accepting that penalty on 3rd down in the first half shows me Zorn's acumen, or lack thereof. My big toe knows enough to decline that penalty and force a 4th down.

Re: Now What??
I wouldn't do anything. You can't make things better when the season is being played. Right now we just have to keep plugging away and then make the changes at the end of the year. I think Zorn needs to be fired but not til the end of the year.

Re: Now What??
Wow... blame it on Campbell who has been decent this year... Amazing. Maybe, just maybe we should be looking at the play calling and the coaches overall. With Sanchez this team would just be plain disgusting(more so then they are already). This coaching staff would've ruined Sanchez.

Thats what gets me. Uninspired. This team has no **** drive, doesnt look jakked up, doesnt look ready to play. They just look like they dont care. They go through this happy grab ass training camp, and just look lazy. I'm so pissed off right now. Theres not a single player on this team who I feel can look in the mirror. Not Cooley, not Portis, not a god damn one of them.

Time to start looking into new head coaches.
