Re: Hairy 'Predator': Horton stands out on Redskins' D
In a draft that was clearly geared at improving the offense, this guy turned out to be a beast. I think that is the key to winning programs...finding that value even late in this case very late in the draft. I can't wait to see this guy come into his own in this league.

He filled a big question mark at Safety last offseason with the death of Sean, and he had a great season last year. In some ways I think it was a gift from Sean, but I'm looking forward to another great season from him.

Horton is a stud but Landry will soon be the "ED REED" Of our defense..

I agree about Landry taking over. Horton will be very good also.
Kareem Moore actually impressed me against the Ravens also. He made some nice hits and tackles and always seemed to be near the ball, stopping someone.

I hope so. Everyone knows that we need more turnovers and Landry is high on the list of those needing to get more picks.

Horton and McIntosh were big problems in coverage last year, but the good news is that you can expect improvement from both of them. I think.
I hope.

I agree with you. I think Horton got turnovers on a turnover starved team which made people look past his poor coverage skills. I personally don't think he is going to make the leap that most fans think he will make.

Yes, Horton was not good with coverage, although I expect to see it improve this season.. But he definitely exceed our expectations of him..
I sort of have a soft spot for Horton; I love underdogs.. So I'm hoping to see him flourish more this year, especially in coverage areas.. |

Re: Hairy 'Predator': Horton stands out on Redskins' D
i think alot of fans overhype hortons ability to cover b/c of that int against romo where he showed great instinct and speed (plus great play call by blache to bait romo) but imo from what ive seen from horton in coverage he has a ways to go (as expected for a compensatory 7th rounder).
personally i have horton and moore at the same grade so far. which is a good thing. go skins!! ps - did moss cut his hair?
