God, that was redundant. He didn't need to make the trip to get that information.

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but man, he could have cut and pasted that story from any of a trillion articles on the Skins since the draft.

Seems like the Skins really are low man on the totem pole, when it comes to interest. Which is fine. I hope that by mid season stories about the CP, the receivers, the line, JC with a new contract, and the dominant D is all the media is talking about.

I felt the same way what was the purpose of him going to Redskin Camp. He gave no new info. Not a big fan of Mort anyway he like to kiss Brett Favre A$$.

We need to keep flying under the radar. No hype, in some ways, is good hype.

In 1991 we went 11-0 before anyone noticed us. We just did our jobs without media distraction.

On the other hand, Dallas is too quiet. We need a Dallas scandal to explode.

Re: Mort Goes to Camp: Redskins

Yeah that was super fluffy. However as Redskins fan we eat sleep and breathe this stuff. It was probably more informative and or interesting to folks in other markets.

That said, it must be pretty sweet to cruise around in that decked out bus doing simple interviews that every real fan of their respective team has heard ad nauseum all offseason. Not exactly a tough gig. No wonder Mort looks so happy all the time.

Re: Mort Goes to Camp: Redskins

It was pretty routine. BUT, on the bright side he did point out that Detroit went 4-0 , and New England went 0-4 in pre-season last year

There was definitely more that maybe was on tv (don't know for sure, didn't watch). At this point, you're pretty much going to hear the same stories for the most part wherever you turn to.

Thought the interview was pretty good though (but I may be biased)
