New Changes in Defensive Scheme
I had a chance to watch our preseason game thoroughly and came away impressed with some of our pressure on the qb. I noticed that we are doing a lot more stunts with our blitz. Also I noticed that when we had Orakpo at end and Alexander and dt we did a hell of a stunt reminding of those Kyle Vanden Bosch and Haynesworth line stunts. I can't wait until we have Haynesworth in the middle with Orakpo on the edge. D Hall stated on Redskins TV that they only had about 3 or 4 calls going into the game but I think we will be a lot creative in our blitzing this year. I even saw a corner #29 disguise his blitz until the last second but could get ther in time when they got that long pass play. I can't until the season starts!!

Re: New Changes in Defensive Scheme
If we blitz Rak on 1st and 2nd downs, when he is playing as a linebacker, he is going to be blocked frequently not by tackles but by backs and TE's. For the Rak that I saw the other night, that is going to be a serious mismatch. He could have a ton of sacks just on 1st and 2nd down, adding a wrinkle which we did not have before.
