It's about time you guy's are coming around to my way of thinking! :headbange

What is with Brunell throwing the ball away when there is no pressure? I saw him at least twice fire the ball into no man's land, when there was no rush whatsoever, all Ramsey need's is a chance to get comfortable, END OF STORY!

Do you guys also notice how Brunell always seems to get the happy feet and does not seem to plant his feet before throwing? The irony, since he is supposed to be the 'poised' veteran.

If you think Brunell lost this game you must be smokin' that crazy stuff. Again, Portis let this team down with poor running and turnover. No turnover, no TD. Whe you can't rely on the run it screws up the play action pass. Coles decides to fumble and the game is over. Gardner should have been involved in the offense. Betts and Cooley still have not had enough touches and that about sums it up. Last point, the hired ex-referee must be fired immediately. Anyone could see that Portis had fumbled. I still have faith in Brunell and Gibbs. Ramsey would have roughly 4 INTs and about 7 sacks in the last two games so keep him right on the bench.

Agreed on our booth official, as I said 2 week's ago, you don't hire a retired official for the booth, knowing the rules are irrelevent, eye sight is the key, half these ref's are half blind while they are still active, I don't want to even think what their eye sight is like when their old enough to retire.

I do disagree with you on Ramsey, Brunell can't move the ball, if he could throw he would open thing's up a little more for Portis, especially with draw's and screen's, Ramsey is a play maker, and as far as I am concerned, every time Brunnell throw's a ball away on third down, it is almost as bad as a turnover, give me a break, the guy is throwing ball's away with no one around him, and he's a veteran? Give Ramsey the same time as Brunnell and you will be saying Brunell who? Ramsey IMO at this point in their carreer's is a better runner than Brunnell, even with a good hammy.

Ageed on Bett's, and Cooley, why are we throwing to rasby, when we have Cooley?

It is a team game, the only reason the passing game was even successful was because of the play action. That said Brunell does not seem to be able to stretch the field. Consequently the running game suffers.

The play calling has been suspect, if you are going to go between the tackles you are going to have to have someone lead block, on his radio show Riggo said most of his success was due to Otis Wonsley....who is our Ottis Wonsley on this team? I don't recall seeing many runs with a lead blocker. I have said this numerous times but one more will not hurt, run the dang draw play! On second and long the draw really needs to be considered, if Portis gets into the secondary it could be a six.

I had to "watch" the game on NFL.com live stats....Where was Cooley.............
Or did they think that Rasby was a better blocker???????????
The line misses Jansen that's for sure..........

But I'd blame the turnover and dropped passes FIRST before I blamed Burnell. When Burnell had to run up the middle......that's not a good sign...........the Browns defense was not even ranked high..........And what's up with the red zone play calling........we have difficulty getting the ball in when we are near the goal line..........too many field goals............

Now that's a Redskins fan who sees the whole picture rather than blame a QB for what they think a 2# string QB could have done in that situation.

I think against Dallas, Brunell showed us he can put the ball down the field. The longest pass Ramsey threw this year was 51 yards. I know the Brunell pass to Gardner on two different possessions was over 50 yards. The Dallas game defintiely made me a believer of Brunell's ability to lead this team. No doubt Ramsey is more talented, but Ramsey still is not a leader. When Rasby dropped the pass on second down I saw Brunell clapping and encouraging his team mates. I've never seen Ramsey even talk to the receivers on the side lines discussing the plays and trying to work out the problems. This is what has to happen if Ramsey is to start. Remember he had his chance all preseason, against the Giants and practice before the Dallas game and Gibbs still went with a hurt Brunell. What does that tell you about Ramsey? Right now he's learning the offense. Second he's figuring out how to read the defense and get the play off on time. We had an all-time high last year in delay of game calls. I'm not ready to give up on Brunell just yet especially since he hasn't turned the ball over.

This year instead of delay of games we just waste TO's. What's better?
