Where's Ramsey
I know brunell turned it on in the forth when he had too. but in the first half he just looked terrible not to mention limping around alot of the time. at what point does ramsey go in.

Ramsey goes in if Brunell is physically unable to go.
Ramsey goes in if/when the coaching staff decides the season is a lost cause. I think that covers about 99% of the possibilities. That may not be the answer you want to hear, but that's the way it is.

brunell was fine, he FINALLY hit some deep passes, which i really wasn't confident about... i'm content for as long as he can play like that...
more importantly, no turn overs and no points off turnovers, and i'm happy about that. raymer was the center tonight... i think that promotion is permanent... brown probably needs to step down too though... |

Brunell is just starting to hit his stride. Why even mention Ramsey at this point? The loss was tough, but we all knew Gibbs system would take 5 or 6 games to take with the players that have never run it before.
Besides the key 3rd down drops, there were several receivers that lined up in the wrong spots and recievers that mis-read the play and ran the wrong route. Once they get it down we will be fine. I think some people like Micheal Wilbon have unrealistic expectations. Gibbs went 0-5 in 1982, when he started with players that did not know his system. Why do some expect us to be a super bowl team right off the bat? I think if Ramsey showed Gibbs he is ready Gibbs would not hesitate to out him in. Do you think Gibbs might know a thing or two about QB's? Gibbs does not feel Ramsey is ready yet. Ramsey will get his time. |

Gibbs is committed to Brunell and that's the way it should be. If Brunell plays himself out of the job or gets hurt we'll see Ramsey. Until then Brunell is the man and that's absolutely the right call.
Switching QB's in and out is a college move and it doesn't work in the pros. I don't know why we're even having this discussion to be honest. |

none of the offense has found its rhythm this whole year. starting with the offensive line. but theres been progress every game though, and by the end of last night Brunell was looking SHARP.
did you see his comfort on that TD throw???? so calmly sidestepped a huge Dlineman menacing him all game and threw a (Ramsey-like) LASER to Rod Gardner so hard he COULDNT drop it. that was some veteren savvy and instinct out there, not to mention some fire. its coming along. once Oline gets settled, we'll see just how good our players really are. |

Why ask a question when you already know the answer? After 1#QB comes 2#QB.
