4th Annual Don's Prediction League

Hey Guy's Like I said in the previous Post I'm here to invite you to my 4th Annual Don's Prediction League.

This is a FREE league I run for FUN I created this league because many members in other boards wanted to predict against me or just wanted to show/prove they also know about predicting games.

It's really easy and fun if you like calling games, it also can help you get better in your own analysis if you're a betting man like myself.Or if you're just a competitive person, like to prove you're the BIG dog against other Rival Fans, this is the league for you.

We have Bloggers fans Dallas, Washington, Arizona, New Orleans, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Denver, Miami, San Diego, Baltimore and Buffalo, we don't have Eagles fans just because I don't want to deal with all their nonsense LOL.

Ok so here is how it works, Each week I send via e-mail to all the league members the Games of the week with the Vegas Lines for those games. and each member selects in three different ways for each game.

Straight up.- who's going to win the game it doesn't matter if it 's NE vs Detroit you only call who you think is going to win. For example most people here would pick NE

Spread.- each week Vegas gives a spread of points to keep matches on an even level example.- NE vs Detroit because NE is so likely to win and possibly big Vegas might give Detroit 13 points in-favor. That means that if you picked NE for you to win not only NE has to win the game but has to beat Detroit for more than 13 points (NE 27- Det 10), so if you don't think NE can win by 13 points it's a better bet to take Det because even if they lose as long as they don't lose by more than 13 you win (NE 27 Det 17) In the last example even if Det lost the game if you picked Det for the Spread you Won.

Over/Under.- Also each week Vegas puts a line of how many points between both team are going to make and you have to pick if they going to score more points between them that what Vegas placed or less. example.- let's take the same game NE vs Det and Vegas place a Ovr/und line of 48 you know NE has an excellent team and it's going to score some points to Det, because of this, if you believe that between them they're easily going to score 48 point in that case you select Ovr so if the score is NE 37 - Det 17 =37+17= 54 you win. but maybe you think yeah NE might score a lot of points but there's no way Det can score against NE. in that case you take the under NE 37 - Det 3 = 37+3= 40 You win.

So, at the end of the week we take all the picks (selections) that each member had right and we add it to his score, and I send that weeks results and the season results and by the end of the year the one with the better record wins.


We have had pretty good member's the past 3 years some with a above 60% Straight up record and 58% record against the spread that's better than most Vegas experts.

Anyway it's a lot of fun, specially if you think you're better than most so call experts out there.

The winner usually just got bragging rights for 1 year but this year I decide to add a Price for 1st place.

1st place will get their team Official NFL Cap (price no more than $25+shipment).
