Nominee are

Hall of Famer Ken Houston, who spent his final 8 seasons in Washington;

-- Hall of Famer Paul Krause, who spent his first 4 seasons in Washington;


-- Mark Murphy, who led the NFL in interceptions in 1983 and made a key interception in Super Bowl 17;


-- Sean Taylor, who was voted to 2 Pro Bowls before being murdered at the age of 24.

This one is considerably tougher. And that's all without Brig Owens on the list

I went with ST. I honestly believe that he could have accomplished much more down the road than the others. He was the best that we ever had playing the position. He just didn't have enough time to prove it.

I had to go with Ken Houston. he to me is the logical choice, where Sean T is the emotional choice. Houston to me ranks as one of the greatest players in redskins history, dominating in his Era. I think Sean T could have become the best redskisn safety ever, but his career was cut way to short to simply dis Houston's incredible career.

I agree about the body of work regarding Houston, but I can't bring myself to vote for anyone other than Sean.

I go with Sean Taylor not only because of what he did in a short time for The Washington Redskins, but also the position the combination of size and speed is incredible and I haven't seen anything like him since, sounds like the same description they use for Lebron James, I think he would have been the best to ever play the position ( of course I'm a little biased).

Bingo. Most talent they ever had except maybe Baugh. Had the chance to actually be a position changer. He never got there obviously but I can't vote for anyone else even though I should. Named my dog after him.
