Re: Meet Cody Glenn
I'm happy that we got a linebacker but this guy does not seem to have been on the radar of many people. Perhaps we could have gotten him later, even after the draft. Maybe the FO knows something about him that others don't, however.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
WTF. That bio says he isn't a big hitter. God damn we should have traded this pick also then. This draft class really sucks monkey balls past the 2nd round!!!!!

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
I think they wanted him in part because not only does he have upside (god I hate that word) but he also seems like he has the speed to cover from the LB position. It also seems like he's an effective blitzer. However was this guy really the best player on their board where you have Duke Robinson and Jamon Merideth available. Still I'm just glad they didn't take a QB, K, or P.
I'll definately give the guy a shot considering Chris Horton and Anthony Montgomery had low grades and they turned out well for us but I don't know if this qualifies as BPA.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Yes they're to good. It likes selecting Man U in Fifa, Detroit in NHL 09, and New England in Madden. It's just not fair
Lol, but Trey Wingo says we drafted Offensive Linebacker.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Thank you Vinny for another A-class selection. You could have selected Meredith, or Robinson, but you went with a weak side linebacker, not that we need a Strong side linebacker, or that we already have McIntosh and Thomas on the weak side, you ignored the fact that he has only played one year at LB, because he couldn't play RB anymore because of his knee, ankle problems. You overlooked that, bringing this stellar talent to the redskins that can our obvious weak side linebacker voids. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Vinny for ignoring reason and bringing us such stellar talent.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
This is a bad choice, especially with Meredeth, Johnson, and Robinson still on the board.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Come on guys. We're expecting too much. We already had our one sensible pick with Orakpo. To go corner and weakside LB when our primary needs are tackle and SAM... Whatever. This Cody Glenn kid has only been a LB since spring of 2008 when injuries forced him to quit playing RB, plus he was suspended last year for a few games for violating team rules.
In summary, we drafted a guy with character issues who has only played LB for a handful of college games, at a position we don't really need. Sweet.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
I think they passed up OL because they ironically have almost to many.
RT - Mike Williams RG - Randy Thomas C - Casey Rabach LG - Derrick Dockery LT - Chris Samuals T- Stephon Heyer T - Jon Jansen G - Chad Rhinehart G - Jason Fabini You also have Devin Clark promised a chance to compete, the possibility of bringing back Pete Kendall as well as the possibility of adding a Center (lol, yeah right) before the day is up. I think 9 lineman is our limit but at the same time we could have easily replaced Fabini with Robinson. In the meantime I'm kind of hoping that they take Javon Ringer. Guy was to productive to keep passing up especially this late in the draft Ironic to considering he was a RB for 3 years at Nebraska.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn
Good pickup to fill a need. We didn't have any offensive linebackers before.
