How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
Due to trading Peters to the Eagles, the Bills now have a glaring need at OT, and I feel like there's a very good chance that they take the best OT available. With Jason Smith and Eugene Monroe likely to go in the first 4 picks, and Andre Smith likely to go the Bengals, that leaves Michael Oher, and I think that the Bills do pull the trigger on him at #11.
Before the trade I had a feeling that the Redskins would only select an OT if Andre Smith fell to them, but now there is no way he drops to #13. With no good OL prospects to take at their pick, what do you think the Redskins do? Should they take Rey Maualuga, or should they try and draft a DE? I think trading down now makes more sense, as there really isn't any talent that is worthy of the 13 overall pick, except perhaps Maualuga. I think if they trade for two late round first rounders they can still get comparable bang for their buck and take both a LB and Alex Mack. Then address OT with the third round pick (maybe Phil Loadholt or Fenuki Tupou? I'm not really sure who'd still be available then). What do you guys think..? |

The Bills also desperately need a pass rusher.
I could see them taking either the best tackle or DE available. They had been shopping Peters for a while, so I don't think this changed their strategy much. If none of the big 4 tackles are available, I'd like to see us go defense. As you mentioned, this draft is very good for O-lineman.

We trade down and either get maualuga or larry English in the first, and mack in the second, and take the best tackle in the third ...I highly doubt oher will be there for us at thirteen whether or not buffalo gets a tackle, and I don't think that we're that high on britton

Trading down would be great, but who really wants to trade up in this draft, I'd love to take Larry English in the lower part of round 1 I think he'd be a better fit than Malaluga to play the hybrid position.

Re: How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
English reminds me of suggs woodley and a littler bit of james Harrison...if I get any flashes of one of those guys then he'll be worth a first rounder, plus every year there's a great player to come out of the MAC and he's the one this year IMO...how do you all feel about britton?? And do you all think oher will be there when we pick at 13?

Re: How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
I think there is a much greater probability that Buffalo will take an OT now that they've traded Peters. On the other hand, if there are four OT's taken in the 1st Round, then it will be the first time that has happened in at least ten years. So who knows if there will be one of the Big Four OT's there when the Skins pick.
If not, then I'd like to see the Skins trade down into the low 20's, if possible, to add a 2nd round pick. The player I want in the first round is DE Tyson Jackson. Then, I'd take RT Phil Loadholt in the 2nd and Lawrence Sidbury in the 3rd. I'd try Sidbury at SLB. |

What I am about to say is not a prediction, just a mention, but Buffalo might also go TE and take Pettigrew, figuring that they are getting the BPA at that position.

Don't sleep, cuz it might be 6 + now that Peters is gone. Also, this affects what Philly will do with its other first rounder. They are less inclined to take a tackle, but who knows. I just want this weekend to be over already/

Philly doesn't need any tackles since they got stacy Andrews and Jason peters And William Beaty is very light, gets owned by bull rushers so I don't see him at all as a possibility on either tackle spot of the line and I don't think the skins are that high on britton ...Loadholt I like but think that he'll have problems with speed rushers like he did in college (Orakpo, brandon Williams, Florida D) what about gerald cadgoan of Penn state I here he's a good fourth fifth rounder who has started on the left side the past two years |

Who would you pick in rounds 1 thru 3 if we traded down and picked up a 2nd rounder? |
