I'm not so worried about it, he dramatized it, but the situation remains the same.

Actually, aside from the mocking fake transcript to start the article, I'd say he's pretty on.

Well everyone always Dogs the skins, so it's not a suprise.. As many of you guys know I wanted to trade Campbell for Cutler, honestly I think Jay Cutler is better especially in our west coast offense. But since Cutler is not a Skin, then we need to get ready for the future and Campbell as we all know has to have a Good season somewhere in the 20TD category and of course we need to win more than 8 games. Or else JC will be released after the season. This guy is just trying to start crap because even if we traded for Cutler the media would have dogged us! THEY ALL HATE SNYDER

Jason and Zorn need to put together a winning season and they won't have to worry about all this crap. I think they can do it but the rest of the team (o-line and receivers) need to do their part too.

I would too. I was very unhappy w/the chasing of Cutler & it did publicly show what Danny (& maybe vinny) think of J. Campbell.

I'm sorry I could not read the article with his idea of how a meeting must have taken place. Several good things came from the whole Cutler issue.
#1. Cutler is not here.
#2. We have a QB with some class who doesn't wine.
#3. Maybe this will finally light a fire under JC back side.
#4. Maybe JC will show significant improvement this yr.
#5. If he does #4 then he can screw the Skins over for a big contract.

See all parties will be happy. If anything the pressure is on JC as I see it. If he blows this yr or plays half ass then the team won't resign him. It will prove some pundits right when they say he's not a #1 QB. and lastly he won't get his payday.

I hope JC is mad. I hope JC has something to prove. I hope JC lights it up and maybe then we will finally go farther in to the post season.

I also think this will be a make-or-break season for both Campbell and Zorn. I think that's fair as far as Campbell is concerned. I'm not so sure that it's fair in the case of Zorn but, with several big-name coaches looking for a HC job next season, Snyder won't be able to help himself.

Now, here's where Snyder may have gotten himself into trouble: if Campbell has a big year he'll generate some interest around the league and he may just sign elsewhere because of his resentment over the Cutler incident.

re: FOX - Botched trade will put pressure on Redskins

This season will have nothing to do with the Cutler trade. Campbell is motivated because he's up for a new contract, so he needs to prove (to the Redskins or to the open market) that he's worth it. Zorn feels pressure because he coaches for Dan Snyder, and if he doesn't show progress after two years then he'll get the heave-ho in all likelihood, especially with guys like Cowher and Shanahan on the market in 2010.

Zorn and Campbell were already motivated and feeling the pressure going into this campaign, and they're united by a common goal, they both need to succeed for their own well-being. Cutler has nothing to do with it.

I’m surprised that more media folks have not jumped on the opportunity to make fun of or; bash the redskins for throwing JC under the bus. Over the years Danny has made so many mistakes, but none were so cold hearted and unwarranted as the attack on the starting QB. And not knowing any of the details behind this deal even makes this nightmare more frustrating for the players and the fans. My hats off to JC, I wish him luck and hope finds success and then stuffs this Cutler trade up Danny’s Ass.

I agree. This should be it for JC, either put up or get out. This is only JZ's 2nd year and he shouldnt be on the hot seat so soon. He should get 4 years to see if he has it. There will always be big-name coaches looking for jobs so their should be no rush to fire & hire (but that's how I see it I doubt DS sees it that way).

Hopefully it's a 24 hour bug thing between this thread and "What would you do if you were the Bengals owner?"

Attack? That's spinning some drama on the situation.

Douche? I have heard most of all that here from people on this site are they douches also? Not sure why people get so bent over when they read in the press the same stuff they read here almost everyday from the fans. To say the media loves to bash the Skins I was no hearing that when we where winning last year and the media just prints what the skins give them.
