What would you do with the 13th pick, use it or traded it.
I know people are going to tell me this as been brought up already but i cant find the post so i'm starting another. I would see if the Jets would give up Vernon Gholston for our 1st round and give us one of their 2nd rounds, i know their not happy with him. What do you think.

Trade down, get an additional pick/picks and stay in the 1st round and go after Alex Mack (hopefully he's there).

id like to trade down. this is a deep draft, we could get an elite back imo late in the first round like mccoy or moreno, maybe a shonne green in the 2nd or 3rd. id love us to take a running back if we can move down, portis always wears down and he is approaching 30. great player still but this is the perfect draft to take a running back. anyways, trade down get maualuga, johnson, or if no one on the lines or quality lb is there get a rb

Huh? Gholston was an epic bust. He was supposed to be an immediate impact player, and he couldn't even get on the field. Hell, he was so bad he was actually deactivated for a few games by Mangini. He even earned the nickname "Ghost" becuase he was so invisible.
I would definitely not be opposed to trading our pick, but only for multiple first day picks and definitely not for Vernon friggin Gholston.

Vernon Gholston is a 4 -3 defense guy not a 3- 4 he just wants to go after the QB. Put him at the left end he's young. I'm just putting it out there.

granted hes only played 1 season, for some reason i saw gholston as probable bust when he was drafted. im not surprised, theres something about ohio state players that makes me skeptical i dont know why

I thought we were going to trade our 1st to the Bengals so we could get Benson to back up Portis?

I'd trade down, and get at late first and mid to late second rounder...I'd get larry English with the first and phil loadholt with the second rounder...hopefully this trade could come with Miami and getting their first and what was our second rounder now theirs...

If I had a choice between using it or trade it, I'd trade it for a lower first and an extra pick. Same reason as SFREDSKIN. Gholston was someone I was wary of and he hasn't given me any reason to change my mind.

Trade down to the mid 20's and select T. Jacson DE from LSU. Depending on who we trade with we could pick up a 2nd. In that case I draft a RT or a C like either Unger or Mack because I think one of them is falling into the 2nd. In the 3rd I'd take Spencer Adkins from Miami (FL). His pro day I think he ran a 4.4 and benched 225 25 times.

Keep our first rounder and go after an OT. Trade our other 3 picks this year for a high second round pick (since we are cap restrained). There are a couple of teams with multiple picks in the 2nd round. Use the second round pick to go after a C for depth behind Rabach, and then let's go to work...!

Take one of the top five ot. Gholston could not start for his own team why would we want him and his contract.

Trade down for a low first and a second and take a young DE and RT
