This can't be true...can it?

Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Redskins are one of a few teams interested in TO. I am seriously considering a boycott of Redskins football if Snyder does this deal.

Owens is among the NFL’s career leaders in catches, yards and touchdowns. But the Cowboys are the third team to get rid of him because of his divisiveness. He left after eight seasons with the 49ers and two with the Eagles. There’s speculation the Raiders or Redskins, among other teams, might be interested in him.

Owens' agent predicts deal by end of next week - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

ROSENHAUS SAYS “SEVERAL TEAMS” ARE INTERESTED IN OWENS
Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2009, 8:28 a.m.
As the list of teams that have said publicly or off-the-record that they aren’t interested in receiver Terrell Owens grows, his agent claims that “several teams” would like to acquire the player’s services.

“These are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell,” Drew Rosenhaus told us Friday morning. “I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify these teams at this time.”

So how quickly will this process unfold?

“Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner,” Rosenhaus said.

A total of sixteen teams (and counting) appear on our Anti-T.O. List, reflecting the teams that publicly or privately have said that they won’t be pursuing the free agent.

In our view, possible destinations include the Broncos, the Raiders, and maybe even the Colts.

But we’ve got a feeling that, if Owens lands anywhere, it could be with a team that no one expected to be in the running.

And we also don’t rule out the possibility that the team that ultimately gets him will be a team that initially said “no thanks,” since such an approach might be the best way to soften his salary expectations

THE ANTI-T.O. LIST
Posted by Mike Florio on March 5, 2009, 11:17 a.m. EST
As we’re doing with Mike Vick, we’ll be keeping a running tally of all of the teams that have said ”thanks” followed immediately by “no thanks” to the possibility of signing receiver Terrell Owens.

Please note that this only reflects teams that already have said that they’re not interested:

The Dallas Cowboys. (Duh.)

The New York Giants.

The Washington Redskins.

The Baltimore Ravens.

The San Francisco 49ers.

The Minnesota Vikings.

The Atlanta Falcons.

The Cleveland Browns.

The San Diego Chargers.

The Philadelphia Eagles.

The New York Jets.

The Tennessee Titans.

The St. Louis Rams.

The New Orleans Saints.

The Houston Texans.

The Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Miami Dolphins.

TITANS ACTUALLY IN THE MIX FOR T.O.?
Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2009, 11:19 a.m.
Our friends at KSK (via our friends at Deadspin) have caught wind of a rumor that receiver Terrell Owens was spotted at the airport in Nashville this morning, with agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Presumably, the purpose of such a trip would be to meet with the Titans.

That said, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported on Thursday that the Titans aren’t interested in Terrell Owens.

But, as we’ve recently mentioned (primarily in an effort to cover our asses as to the potential inaccuracy of the Anti-T.O. List), teams could be suggesting publicly or privately that they don’t want Owens merely to soften up his salary expectations.

Sorry, but that sums up whats in the Cowboys cut T.O. thread. The only thing that bothers me is the last line in which PFT says some teams maybe publicaly saying they don't want him in order to soften the blow either with fans or his(T.O.) asking price.

It can be true...but as of right now, the Redskins have said they have no interest in him and until something comes out that leads us to think otherwise there's no need for multiple threads on this guy.
