Trotter's hit wasn't what I would call illegal, but still, is it really necessary to wipe out the punter like that??

why didnt he hit the cornerback looking Giant right next to him? he's much more of a threat to the play. Trotter keyed on this guy.

Why didnt Trotter hit anyone when he played with us?? LOL. Seriously that was just about as big of a cheap shot as you get. I mean it was a clean hit, but it was absolutley unessacarry. Just made himself feel big and scary for knocking down a punter. Pathetic.

The point of that hit was to injure the punter. No question. Trotter isn't looking at anyone else in that play. Some things never change in Philly...

I guess that's the only way Trotter can make a highlight......hitting a punter

Yeah, Bowen clocked Garner on an outside run didn't he? Nice hit.

It also made me laugh when the announcers called Gold's tackle at the end of one Portis run, when in fact Portis all but ran him into the turf!

Incidentally was it Bowen or Jimoh that forced the TB PR to leap in the air to avoid the hit? I watched he replay and thought, I'd have jumped OOB too!

Yeah that was a sweet hit. The announcers pointed out how it was liek 170 of smoot nailing 250 of Moore. That was pretty cool.
