Russ Grimm going for Number 5
So who are you pulling for? STEELERS or CARDINALS?
I am pulling for Russ to get number 5. 3 with us as a player 1 with the Steelers as a coach and 1 to come with the Cardinals as a coach Last edited by MrIcon; 01-19-2009 at 01:25 AM. Reason: MISSED SOMETHING |

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
At least us Redskin fans can get a little satisfaction from the Arizona win with a former Redskin helping to lead the way. If Zorn and that idiot Vinny fail next year, I hope The Little Danny can start keeping his little fingers off of the team ops and convince Russ Grimm to come back home where he belongs. The man seems to win no matter where he goes.
Damn, what in the hell am I talking about? That will never happen.

Definitely pulling for Cards. Grimm is a plus and Dockett is a local guy.

Go Cardinals. Nice to see that Joe Gibbs football can still win in this league

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
With or without Grimm I'd be cheering hard for the Cardinals. Hopefully the Cards fans (both new and old) can put some butts in the seats in Tampa so it is not like another Steeler's home game (which I suspect it will ... just like in '05 and this year at FedEx).

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
I do not think that would happen. Russ Grimm left washington in 2000 for a reason. While many might believe that it was due to a coaching change here in Washington, I belive that it was because of a short tyrant with Napoleon complex. In no way do I believe that Grimm would ever work for that man. I do not blame him.

It would be nice to see him inducted to the HOF after winning another ring.

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
If AZ was playing any other team I think they would really have the crowd behind them but the Burgh diaspora is so huge that it will be a Steeler crowd.
I am pulling for Pgh. From top to bottom they do things right which means their consistent success is no accident and this season wont be a one year Cinderella story. |

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
same here, going for cardinals as well, the cardinals in a way, remind me of last years giants. Know i now there is a LOT of differences, but the giants last year had a good, young D coordinator in Spaggs, who shut down some good offense in their playoff run, and this year you have a young cardinals team, with (dont know if hes young) a good Offensive Coordinatoor, who has handled perdy good Deffense throughout the playoffs

Re: Russ Grimm going for Number 5
5 former Cowboys (I think all from Parcells' staff), and 3 former Redskins on the Cardinals' 16 man coaching staff. Interesting
