rival jersey game
Ok I know this is gonna hurt, but I thought it would be fun too. If you had to wear a jersey of our division rivals in public, which one would you feel ok wearing? Basically, what player do you admire despite them being a hated rival (current or past)?
Here's mine: Dallas: Aikman - I always respected the guy, great leader and competitor. Philly: Westbrook - A mini Marshall Faulk, the guy is so deadly in so many ways NY: Bavaro - One of my all time favorite non-Redskins players. The guy was just a beast, who can forget this play (check out the hit by Lott later on in the clip too, ouch). As a kid in the backyard I always wanted to be Riggins or Bavaro. |

Re: rival jersey game
Oh boy, what a thread Matty. Guess I'll play along.
NYG: LT. Coked up or not, the guy was a great linebacker. Philly: Randall Cunningham..he was the greatest in Tecmo Bowl Dallas: I'd go with Emmit here, even though I hate every single Cowboy on the face of the earth |

Re: rival jersey game
Dallas - Witten. Just because he's a beast TE.
Philly - God. I can't even think of anyone I remotely like on Philly. Giants - Manning.. Or for shock value... Burress My fav non-Redskins Jersey to wear right now is Ed Reed with the Ravens though. Every night I curse the fates for not letting us have him on the Skins.

Re: rival jersey game
Interesting topic.
My favorite non-Skin now is Kerry Collins. Would have liked to see him get a ring this time. All-time Eagle: B. Mitch or Thrash Cowboy: Brad Johnson or Babe Laufenberg (I really hate the Cowboys) Giant: Sam Huff

LT was revolutionary defender, Cunningham I just always loved to watch, and Emmitt, while dumb as a box of rocks, is a proud Florida Gator like myself. On the flip side - say you lost a bet to a fan of the division rivals, and you were forced to wear your LEAST favorite player from each team (nauseating, I know). Mine would be: Dallas - a toss up between Michael Irvin and TO. Two classless, lousy, me-first assholes. Philly - McNabb. No doubt about it. I absolutely can't stand the dude. 2nd would be a TO Eagles jersey. Giants - Eli Manning, with Jeremy Shockey as a VERY close second.

Re: rival jersey game
I'm gonna go old school on all three...
Philly--Harold Carmichael or Mike Quick. Always secretly liked both of them. Giants--Phil Simms Cowboys--This is the tough one. But because of the "California Quake"--the greatest touchdown dance ever--I'll say Butch Johnson... |

Re: rival jersey game
Eagles: Brian Dawkins. I've never seen a player play with so much passion, and he's a great leader.
Giants: Phil Simms. Nice guy. Cowboys: Jay Novacek. Always felt he was under-appreciated, and another good guy.
