Ya know, I really can't stand either JLC or Larry Michael. I really wish they could have a Freaky Friday incident and have to live in the other's world for half a season. That would be fun to watch!!!

I read that. It's hard to argue with a lot of JLC's points. Taken for what it is, a case for keeping Zorn, I think the post is very compelling.

I see eye to eye with him except when he calls Moss a number 2. I would take Moss over any other WR in the Division. It is not Moss's fault that he has no one lined up opposite of him to take some heat off.

JLC is pretty much right about most of his points. Not like he is saying anything ground breaking though.

It's pretty simple really. Yes, the Redskins have talent (but need more) but plenty of the talent isn't playing enough yet. But heaven forbid we should give any of the players time

I agree. No one is more explosive than Moss, he is playmaker. Get a legit WR on the other side and he would be a pro-bowler.

While Sally La Canfora's bla, bla, bla gets tired as our O-line, he makes some valid points. He just enjoys it to much........

Canfora is pretty much right, so to everyone who wants to fire Zorn and bench Campbell.....and thats another thing, people say they want continuity, but they want us to start all over in the offseason? Losing sure brings out the retard in people |

I think JLC nailed it. The problem with the redskins starts at the head...chop it off...

His strengths are not in coverage and that's no knock on LaRon. ^^that Is Non-sense, our whole defensive scheme is based on Dirty's ability to play Cover 1 as the single deep safety and patrol the deep ALONE |

Re: Michael Vouches for Abundant Talent; How About You?
It is hard to argue. I watch other, "less talented" teams and their #1 WR gets open for at least 6-7 balls a game, and they are able to get open down field. I just dont think Santana is a #1 WR in the NFL. I use to argue that for a couple of years, but i can't anymore. He is the same size as Steve Smith. He gets open ALL THE TIME, and he is basically the only option on the Panthers. Moose is a nice compliment, but he is 34 and no where near the player he was early 2000's.
Campbell just doesn't seem to want to take chances. QB's in this league, with a true #1 WR take chances, they allow them to make plays on the ball. I watch teams and see them completing balls 30 yards down field, hell even 20 yards down field and just wonder why the hell can't we do that!! Well, I think it comes down to Moss not being as good as we all would like to think he is. Know, I know there are a ton of other factors. He is our ONLY threat, so he gets doubled under and over, which leads me to Randel El....he stinks. He is in no way a #2 receiver. I have said it since we gave him 30 million, he is way over paid.. .and not that good. He is a #3, maybe. We have no WR threats at all. Cooley would is a threat, just imagine what he would do if we could field two, three pretty good WR's!! Offensive line...seriously...old and under talented! 3 or 4 years ago, they were pretty solid, but we let a good guard go by not offering him a decent contract when he had 1 year remaining on his deal. (i know what he signed for in buffalo was way too much!) but we should have signed him to an extension. the line is not that good despite the early success. D- line, must we go there? they need to blow that whole thing up. Keep Montgomery, he plays the run fairly well and is improving. Still not sure about Golston. Carter is a waste in my opinion. He can not get pressure and can't play the run, same with Jason taylor Line backers - pretty solid, but need someone to take Marcus's spot. He is done. secondary is pretty solid as well, and pretty young with Rogers, Hall, Landry and Horton. good foundation. overall, we are not very talented in my opinion... we have some decent talent but not very good at Key positions. |

Re: Michael Vouches for Abundant Talent; How About You?
That's the main point I took from it, blaming Zorn for these issues after being here for only 10 months is absurd.

Re: Michael Vouches for Abundant Talent; How About You?
i was always a over evaluator of talent. this article is pretty obvious. the skins do have talent. just not enough of it. and i disagree with not playing the rookies. its different if your in a big playoff push, but the skins have been getting ready for the off season the last couple of weeks

Re: Michael Vouches for Abundant Talent; How About You?
That's a show I would watch. Or put them together like" Hannity and Colmes " on Fox, but make it about the Redskins instead of politics. I don't have much love for either one, but it was a good article for the purpose it was written. Zorn is not the one to blame here. He deserves more time.
