YouTube's Most Watched Election Video

Apparently this is the most watched election-related video on YouTube (11 million views or something like that).

Kind of surprised Matty and saden hadn't posted this yet

I saw that, it wasn't interesting and I thought it was filled with mindless fodder. Certainly there's nothing new or compelling about his argument. You won't see saden post any videos from Jon Soltz and votevets.org folks so you shouldn't expect saden to post this video either.

It wasn't an accusation, just some light ribbing and kudos on using the first AND third person all in one post.

I really don't think it's interesting either. Like it or not it had 11 million-ish views and the most viewed video in the history of YouTube I think.

And there are thousands of vets that share is view. It really proves nor disproves anything it's an appeal to emotion, which is fine as long as you recognize it.

Frankly, chanting "change change change" is largely an appeal to emotion to. Hell, most of politics is about emotion, not the facts and issues.

Re: YouTube's Most Watched Election Video

Definitely not the most viewed in history, maybe the most political video though.

Yeah, that's more like it.

At first I couldn't believe Avril Lavigne was #1, but then I remebered she's kind of hot in that video and it all makes sense. That and her fans gamed the whole thing apparently. But mostly the hot thing.

Re: YouTube's Most Watched Election Video

i heard about this... i got in an argument with my wife's idiot cousin who was telling me that obama wants to cut off all of the money going to the troops in iraq and leave them out there stranded...

what a moron. she asked me how my brother in law would feel if he knew I was thinking about voting for obama (he's about to embark on his second iraqi tour)... so I showed her the text message of him telling me he sent in his absentee ballot for obama already.

that's the biggest problem I have with mccain... 90% of the support you see is ignorant rhetoric that makes no sense. I mean its like he's using the chewbacca defense to win a f'ing presidential election, and the only people voting are from arkansas.

I told you about those Asian women. That is a prime example of a woman that needs to be held down and force-fed a buttermilk biscuit or 2.

It was a joke in South Park where a lawyer (Johnnie Cochran) makes a case on a trial over copyright infringement based on something completely random. He talks about star wars and how Wookies live on a planet called Endor that is inhabited by Ewoks, which doesn't make sense to Cochran. He wins several cases in the show this way.

It's making fun of Cochran's famous "glove" defense in the OJ case.

"If the glove don't fit, you must acquit"

Re: YouTube's Most Watched Election Video

And in terms of the video, clear explain of things getting taken out of context. Just because you say the Iraq War is wrong(and it WAS, we went in on bs reasons) doesn't mean you think the military and sacrifice is wrong.

She's not asian. She's Latina.
