Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2
Anyone play both of these yet? Both look pretty good to me, just wondering which one I should pick up first.

Re: Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2
God all these new good looking games coming out are making me want to buy a next gen system even more lol. I'm just hesitant because I don't have the time for it anymore, I bought Ace Combat 5 for the PS2 for 20 bucks about 2 months ago and I've only touched it once because most of my time is spent elsewhere nowadays. But I've seen the commercials for both these games and they both look really good, even though I've never played the original Far Cry or Saints Row.

I'm considering purchasing Dead Space. Sounds like the kind of game you can really turn the lights off and dive into.
But really everything is just a time filler until Gears of War 2 drops. GOW1 was one of my favorite games of all time and 2 sounds better in every way. Seriously can't wait. |

Yeah, after reading the review for Dead Space, I just might have to pick that up. I love those games that can creep you the F out.

Re: Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2
I'm intrigued as well by dead space. Gears of war 2 is a must for me, and I'll have to play saints row before I buy it.. when I first got the new GTA game, I liked it but it soon got very repetitive as far as the missions go.
It seems like all you do is get in a vehicle, chase someone down, kill them, run back, etc...

GOW 2! I am hoping it will release me from my Halo 3 addiction.

Re: Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2
Gears 2 is gonna be sick hands down but one game people need to look for is Left 4 Dead. same guys who did half life and more importantly CounterStrike.
As far as FC 2 and SR 2, Saints Row is like a more comical take on Grand Theft with a ton of customization thrown in. FC 2 is cool but I'd personally get it used or when it's a bit cheaper. It's an awesome game, but can get kind of old after a while of driving back and forth between missions. I can't wait to play Fallout 3 tonight. Oblivion stole over 200+ hours of my life and with this game having reportedly 500+ endings, this game could steal 300+ hours.
