R.I.P. Levi Stubbs...
i do not know how to post a link. but Levi Stubbs, front man for the legendary four tops, died on Friday. the Four Tops, and the Temptations, were the cornerstones of the Motown music empire. along with Barry Gordy, and Smoky Robinson, they made little old Motown the main player in music in the 50's, 60's and even into the 1970's. what a great loss to the music industry. and i also know there are alot of younger guys around here that probably have no idea

Re: R.I.P. Levi Stubbs...
I'll admit, as one of the semi-young'ns on this site, I didn't know who he was. But I have heard of the Temptations and the Four Tops and I know they were a pretty huge band in their day. I'm sure they were extremely influential in their time and he was a part of that, so R.I.P. Levi Stubbs.

Good music transcends generations. A real loss!
