Usain Bolt

I wonder if after the Olympics are over if any NFL team will try to sign him and try to convert him into a WR project like, Renaldo Nehemiah, Bob Hayes, Ron Brown, Willie Gault, etc. At 6'5" and 9.69 seconds, why not. The scary part is this guy could have gone faster, but started to slow down towards the end. What a beast!!

Re: Usain Bolt

why even bother? just because they have fast speed doesnt mean they will be an execllent reciever, they have to be able to catch, run routes, e.t.c

I was thinking the same thing... I he could catch a ball he'd back the CB and safety up at least 15 yards. I don't think he needs to do it though, he has a long lucrative track and field career ahead of him.

With his name, how could he not be a Charger?

Re: Usain Bolt

Football isn't just about speed, it's also about footwork and vision. I highly doubt he has the footwork and the vision required to be a WR. I'd give him a shot at kick returning though.

Re: Usain Bolt

anyone remember Antonio brown? world class speed, but couldn't catch a cold. and ask Skeets Nehemiah about how hard it is to make that transition
