Buckhalter

"Buckhalter collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain after a 2-yard gain. There was no immediate word on the extent of his injury."

This does not sound good for the Eagirls!!

yeah and its his right knee and not his already injured left knee so now he's gonna be more than likely having chronic problems in both. and this hurts even more since they were counting on him with staley being gone.

"Buckhalter collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain after a 2-yard gain. He left the field on a cart and X-rays revealed the torn ACL."

Looks like Westbrook is the man now in Philly

It was pretty obvious from the way he went down that he tore his knee up.

I dumped him from one of my fantasy squads before I even heard the official word.

Hes done for the year, torn potella tendon. I hate to see anyone get injured, but whatever helps us out is all good. They are down to just Westbrook now.

Hmm, this might be a big help to us... Westbrook has never been 'the guy' in the backfield, he's always been a part of a committee.

definitely increases our chances. now, if westbrook is out, even for a few weeks, the backup has never had a carry in the NFL, bad news for them. they will prolly add another back

Buckhalter can't catch a break...i guess the Philly fans have another piece of turf to complain about now...

Westbrook is a very talented RB, and I could see him getting 1000 yards this year, even with the 2 headed monster of McNabb and TO.

I really like Westbrook, whether he can hold up for a whole season is another story.

The iggles have lost some pretty important players. Their #1 RB and one of their best pass rushers. Sure, Westbrook is pretty good, but he's not as good as Westbrook + Buckhalter, who weren't as good as Westbrook + Buckhalter + Staley. And if Kearse goes down....

As for the iggle O, double team TO, and make the others beat you. He's good, but one WR isn't enough. Plus, if we can get some ball control/run offense, we'll keep TOs touches down to a minimum. That's the way to beat the iggles.

the Eagles TEs are fair catching threats. that and McNabb running on us will keep our LBs from blitzing. our Dline has to really show up. and Springs better keep up.
