Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
On NFL Network Sunday 5/25 at 1pm
I know it was a loss, but the NFL Replay's in HD are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Plus it gives me the chance to get the games on DVD in high quality. |

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
It would have been a different story if Taylor was playing.

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
Unfortunately for atleast the next 5 years we'll all be thinking the very same thing. Even hard to watch clips of him cause he was just that amazing. Was there ever any Safety that was as feared? Ever? Ronnie Lott? Nah. Anyone?

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
This was before Taylor died, so Landry was still playing SS and Doughty was at FS. If Landry was at FS in this game, he could have stopped T.O.

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
I had one of my good friends over yesterday and he turned it on. He's a big Dallas fan and he told me I was making excuses when I said we would have won if Taylor was playing. Watching it a second time makes it even more evident.

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
i doubt he would have stopped him. he was still just a rookie. t.o definitely wouldn't have had a career day, like he did.

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
I don't think I'd be able to stomach watching this replay because of that thought.
I remember that I wasn't too upset after that game because I knew that Taylor was hurt and that he would have had a huge impact; and then the unthinkable happened...

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
If I remember right it was LL's and RD's first game together in the secondary. It didn't go so well. RD has played at a high level since then. Unfortunately, that was the game they had to get the "kinks" out.

Re: Skins/Cowboys NFL Replay
I was at this game & sadly, it was a great performance by JC until he threw the pick to Newman in the end. He made some great plays under pressure & really took what the defense gave him. Moss had a big game too.
If JC corrects mistakes like those this year, our O should be very explosive. |
