Re: NCAA Tournament Thread
I agree AZ state got a raw deal but i say that only because Arizona got in. Tech on the other hand didnt deserve to get in the tourney, best win was against Miami, they had some really bad losses, their biggest chip was close losses, which isnt really a big chip at all. Teams that really got the shaft are Dayton and Umass, Syracuse has more to gripe about than VA tech does. IMO Oregon and Villanova should be out and Dayton and Umass should be in.

Re: NCAA Tournament Thread
Hrm, I really disagree about Oregon -- they deserve it. I'm just glad GMU gets to send Notre Dame home.

Re: NCAA Tournament Thread
I was just trying to be objective in the fact that if you look at RPI oregon and villanova were the last two in. Oregon had some good wins this year but they also had some really bad losses, really spotty team. I cant believe more people havent talked about dayton getting snubbed, but i guess that its a prime example of why its much better to end the season strong than to start the season strong. But, man, I cant believe a team that beat louisville at louisville and absolutley dismantled a very good pitt team is being left out, especially with their RPI and strength of schedule being in the low 30's.

Re: NCAA Tournament Thread
Can we get a final 4 prediction going? I was gonna start my own thread but this can be easily manipulated.

I went all Big East with our Warpath bracket. Hoyas, Louisville, Pitt, Huskie. Hoyas over Huskies for the title
At work I went UCLA, Texas, Hoyas, UNC. Hoyas over Texas

Out of the three brackets I am in, I think I have UCLA winning it.

Re: NCAA Tournament Thread
The Duke game is nuts...they keep showing Vince Gill (Im assuming he's a country star, not a fan) but when they showed him the first time I was thinking it was the dude from Night Court...John Larroquette. Except in more current pics that dude looks really old.
Only 4 times has a 15 beat a 2, can it happen to Duke tonight? Belmonts hanging tough. (no nkotb references please) |
