Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Moss had a one year contract, and after all that has happened in recent times, do you think the pats still resign him

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Not sure. NE has to also try and resign Samuel. I doubt they keep both. And we all know NE is not going to overpay for anyone. I would not be surprised if Moss walks because NE has so much depth at WR. They've got Chad Jackson and Kelly Washington sitting on the bench. Either one of those guys could start for us.

Moss knows he can have a chance at another Super Bowl with NE. He will make sure that he is on their roster no matter the financial compensation.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Broke Jerry Rice's single season record. Had the most prolific season of his career. Moss is probably thinking "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
If he goes anywhere else, do we see the Moss of the New England? Or do we get the Moss of the Oakland Raiders? He just has it too good in NE, and a QB who gets him the ball. Not to mention Brady was quoted as saying "Wherever Randy goes, I go." Moss stays in NE. IMOHO |

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
I think NE will definitely attempt to re-sign him and call me crazy but I think Moss will take less money to stay with NE than what he can get on the open market. He's got a great thing going there, he's putting up monster numbers again and oh yeah 18-1 ain't too shabby despite the fact they lost the SB.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
NE needs him as much as he will want to stay there. Put those two things together and it will be a fair contract which is a win win for both sides. Yes the Pats do have other WR's but does anyone think that those other WR's would have had their success this year if teams did not have to give Moss so much attention.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Moss will definitely re-sign after experiencing the abyss in Oakland. I expect that he'll take less money than he could make in the open market, but there won't be enough left for Asante Samuel to get his big payday. I expect Samuel to end up with the Jets and Mangini again.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Of course he will be and they will pay him handsomely. He makes that team so much better it's not even funny. You won't see a David/Branch situation or any other situation they have had in the past with Moss.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
I expect him to sign a 5 year contract being that he is 30 years old right now. This year they report paying him 8,251,210 I expect that he can see an offer of about 12,000,000 a year. I think he doesn't want to be subjected to what happened in Oakland with 9 touchdowns.

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
It sounds like he will be resigned. Do you think they will unload any other receivers? I'd love to see Welker in a skins jersey. He is big, prolific tough, and makes clutch plays. I don't think we'd have to overpay too much to get him into a burgundy gold shirt and he is a normal human being, not a nutcase like chad johnson. He had some big catches that won games during the regular season and in the playoffs and seems to have the resume to be considered a "true redskin"

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
he took a 6mill paycut to join the pats, i doubt he really wants to leave. he's already had two bad situations with teams. football's more like a job to him anyways, he rather be smoking and fishing.
the pats probably let samuels walk and draft the best cb at #7 (or trade down, since the best cb isn't a top 10 pick). |

Are you smoking crack? There is no way in HELL that the Pats let Welker get away from them in the next 5 years....no way in HELL pardon my French...but that is just crazy. Every team in the country wants that guy

Re: Will Randy Moss Be re-signed?
Moss will re-sign with the Patriots. This will be one of their top priorities, along with signing Assante Samuel. It would be friggin' sweet for the Redskins to sign a player of Moss' caliber, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I may be going out on a limb here, but maybe we should take a page from the Patriots' playbook on how they sign talent and win. I've blasted Snyder before on here and yes, I have to eat some "humble pie" and say Snyder is trying to better the Redskins even if his methods are kinda weird. But, the Patriots have taken players who have been "cancers" on other teams or supposedly lost a step or two (ex. Corey Dillon, Randy Moss) and look what they have done. Just my opinion.
