Re: Marty?
We'd probably have a better winning % than we do the past several years without him. But again, if you don't get along with Vinny, you don't get along with Danny. Marty also butted heads with AJ Smith in SD and got fired despite a 14-2 record.

Re: Marty?
Imagine if Vince Lombardi hadn't died in 1970. Might not have been a George Allen here. Imagine if Bobby Beathard had gotten along with Jack Pardee. Might have stayed another year and Gibbs had gone somewhere else. I understand the desire to continuously speculate, but sometimes it really is just pointless.

Re: Marty?
Me too! But, I doubt that that is the path that LDS and cousin Vinnie are taking.

Re: Marty?
Joe Pesci from the movie of the same name "My Cousin Vinnie", the last movie that Fred Gwynn from "The Munsters" starred in.

Re: Marty?
When Gibbs first retired I think it was Pat Kirwan on Sirius NFL radio said Marty very well may be a candidate. Something about someone in Marty's family got cancer after he was fired from DC. Snyder used his influence to get that person into see the top specialists and let Marty and his family use his private plane to travel. Said the relationship between the two is actually fairly good.

Re: Marty?
We might have won a Super Bowl or we might have gotten to the playoffs and lost like Marty has always done. Im still shocked Snyder let him go after the 2001 season but at least Gibbs cameback in 2004 and gave us some great memories. HTTR.
