ESPN Report: John Harbaugh Hired as Ravens HC

Link to come. Harbaugh was the Eagles secondary coach.

Cant wait for the battle of the beltway. Still bitter from the Sunday night lost a couple of years ago. Bring on the ravens.

Good news that they are stealing an Eagles assistant.

Well, since there are only 32 jobs available, it's kind of a big deal. Add in the fact that they play 45 minutes from us, play against us next year, and have fans that are completely insufferable, and it's news.

That's a ballsy (or stupid, depending on how it works out) hire.. Hiring someone as your head coach who has never even been a coordinator anywhere before? I can't believe there wasn't a more 'qualified' candidate.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Living in Baltimore, I would like nothing better than to root for the Ravens (as a secondary team of course). But between their obnoxiuos fans, Ray "I hid a murderer" Lewis and their general thuglike team attitude, I have a real hard time doing so. Billick was an arrogant ass who fostered an "everyone hates us so it's okay to treat everybody else like dirt". Maybe, just maybe, Harbaugh can bring some class to the players.

This is the kind of trendy pick that can make or break your team. I like the idea of taking a young coach without a head coaching resume. However, this team is aging fast and doesn't look to be enjoying winning anytime in the near future.
