defensive player of the year
This is total bullshit, the 5 candidates are cromartie who didnt even start on his own team untill late in the season, williams who has 14 sacks, 59 tackles (43 solo) and one pass defended, kerney who has 14.5 sacks, 60 tackles (49 solo) and two passes defended, sanders (who is mos def a legit candidate), and vrabel who had 12.5 sacks, 77 tackles (55 solo) no passes defended and no picks. In my mind, ware is obviously a better 3-4 to vrable, ware beat vrable in every catagory, he had 14 sacks, 84 tackles (60 solo), and 4 passes defended. Also, Allen was obviously better than both DE candidates with 15.5 sacks, 64 tackles (55 solo), and 10 passes defended. On top of that...Allen only played in 14 games while every one else played in 16! Id definately give the defensive player of the year to him...but hes not even on the list, as a result im not voting to protest this bullshit.

Re: defensive player of the year
Is this some sort of poll? Why don't you be more specific as to what exactly you're rambling about?
For the record, Bob Sanders was named AP Defensive Player of the Year today

Re: defensive player of the year
I didn't know fans were eligible to vote for the player year. I thought the AP in the award stood for, well, the AP.
