All Hail Coach Joe!
Here's an ode to a great man:
....who's given us a revival of Redskins Football. ....who was a source of strength during a season of personal adversity and team tragedy. ....who, to a man, confronted players' sorrow in the most therapeutic way and even provided an opening for more to share in the afterlife. ....who answered the critics in his own quiet and unassuming, but crafty and forceful style. ....who provided counsel to his own young, hand-picked quarterback, while having to later unexpectedly co-manage the efforts of an aged journeyman. ....who never surrendered his coaching authority, but did alter his preparation for games with his players' interests in mind. ....who led us to victory against Dallas, and has evened the season series against them in The Second Coming (4-4). ....who, by virtue of all the above and then some, deserves to stay in Washington as head coach of the greatest franchise of all time for as long as he wishes. Thank God for Coach Joe!!! |

Re: All Hail Coach Joe!
He needs to come back next year and finish the job. We are so, so close I don't care what people say about our OL getting old (early 30's ain't old) finding Heyer and Alexander are pluses, Alexander could be plugged as a guard next year. You replace Fabini and Wade with Heyer and Alexander, draft a young C/G combo player, OL fixed. On defense you find a young DE, CB,OLB, problem solved. On WR, Espi will be back, throw that kid Mix into the mix and draft another burly WR, problem solved. Yes, that easy!! Please Joe come back and thanks!!!
