Suisham = Momentum Killer

I'm sorry, but there was too much MOJO going on for the Skins to lose this game. How perfect is that for Landry to get two INTs playing Sean's position. I swear, I was sitting there thinking, HOLY SHIT, that's Sean wearing #30. Landry had a great game, and represented big time.

Bottom Line: If Suisham makes that field goal Wii win. You can't miss a 30 yard field goal there...You just can't do it. I thought Gibbs was going to bite his lip off after that. That was the beginning of the end. 17-13 would have been good, but 14-13 gave them the chance they needed to come back and make the Skins pay. Suisham isn't living remotely close to D.C. next year.

I'm with you and it sucks.

Honestly, the thing that eats at the me the most isn't that we lost to Seattle. It's that the stupid smug-ass Seattle fans get to enjoy it before they get blown out in Green Bay.

I agree. Once he missed that FG, everything began to fall apart.

Abso-fing-lutely. We need a new kicker and punter in the worst way. Neither of them are clutch and they have had ample opportunity here. I have completely lost my patience with Shuishank and Frust(rated)...

YEP!

Normally I'd like to say, well at least we lost to the guys who won the Superbowl...or at least we lost to the guys who lost to the guys who won the Superbowl...but unfortunately these Seahawks aren't going to get past the next round. I really feel like we've been robbed. I am having a hard time going to bed because I feel like I HAVE BEEN ROBBED, I find myself looking for my wallet over and over....Damn It.

Wii win?

Anyhow, horrible miss by Suisham but I still maintain we should have scored a TD on that drive anyway. Still, I don't like to pin everything on just one guy like that. I really like the sign that was displayed behind Gibbs during his post-game presser "Responsibility is a team sport."

I think some competition for Suisham in the preseason wouldn't hurt. Frost got hurt by penalties today

Re: Suisham = Momentum Killer

I disagree. It should have never come to a FG. We get a gift on the kickoff, get a 1st and 10 inside their 20 up by 8 and we can't put them away. Our offensive line could not open holes for our RB's or protect QB. Plain and simple our O-line did not get it done against a godd but not great Defense. Our O-line made their defense look great and they are not. Our Kicker has some responsibility but out O-line has more of the blame.

I can't disagree with that. Our O'line has to be accountable for not getting it done. However, going against that D-line, hell, that front 8 is pretty good...and with our injuries I won't put it all on them. You got to call plays that are to your advantage, and I didn't understand the playcalling all game...maybe that's just me.

cooley dropping the ball on that same series was horrible. He catches that and 75% we get that TD. 21-13./

I absolutely agree here. Sure we can blame Suisham, but he'll just be the scapegoat. Moss could be the scapegoat too for giving up on that play when he should have expected a pass...how can you just walk away like that? Well, point is, there were a lot of plays we did not capitalize on, and that's that. It sucks, but Seattle outplayed us up front and on D.

Exactly. When you get the ball on the 14 yard line you have to put that in the end zone. No excuses. The offense just didn't get the job done. I don't even blame the kicker.

That missed field goal was a huge momentum shift. We were soo close to making a touchdown on that drive too.

Moss quit on that route, no question. I just wonder, was ST whispering in his ear to quit. I mean he's been saying in all his interviews that ST is speaking through them, so WHAT?
