Well the Saints are third, Bills 4th, Chiefs 5th, and 49ers 7th. Mediocrity costs a pretty penny. Personally I get kind of tired of these payroll things since they are kind of difficult to understand all the intricacies and mostly just used as a way to bash the Skins.

USA today is not know for in-depth reporting, that's why there's no mention of dead cap space, etc.
Maybe we're still the worst in all categories, but we could be on the way to rebounding after AA was traded & next we'll cut Loyd. Of course we'll have some dead cap space from that to deal with, but it seems that the amount of dead space has been slowly declining. |
