Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
I'm selling magnetic car ribbons on eBay. They will be up for 10 days. All profits are going to the Sean Taylor Trust Fund for his daughter. I'd like to try and promote the sales here. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions (eggheadgaming@yahoo.com) You could also reach me via PM or just reply to this thread. I'd really like to donate a good amount to Sean Taylor's daughter. Prices are $7 plus shipping. Item should arrive about 1.5 months after purchase, due to shipping to me from the factory, then shipping to you. Guaranteed item arrival within 2 months time. Here is the lilnk, and please support!

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
Not trying to be a jerk here but is there any way you can prove where the profits are going? Sorry it's just hard to trust people on Ebay right now with all the sharks out there looking to cash in on this tragedy.

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
Well what about the contact info for the foundation itself to verify that it's a legitimate org. And can people make their payments out directly to the foundation?

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
Go on eBay and type in "Sean Taylor Ribbon (All profits donated!!!!)" See what it links you with and post it. I don't know why it isn't working. It should be a bunch of Sean Taylor photos with his jersey in the middle. Seller is "xkaotikx".
I don't know how else to link it. I signed out and searched it then posted the link. |

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
this sounds fishy to me...what are the costs associated with the production and shipping? what is your bottom line per item sold? I agree with Matty here, you'll need to come up with some sort of verification before people on this site will buy your product.

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
I have the contact info for the foundation right on the site, along with a link to very that it's legit. And I can't allow people to make payments directly to it, because I'm only donating profits, not everything. All I'm asking for is money to pay to get the ribbons and everything else goes to the foundation. Example: I get a ribbon for $4, I sell it for $7. I keep $4 to pay for the ribbon, the other $3 goes to the fund.

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
I agree.... this definately sounds a little questionable as to the charity aspect.... especially since he will seem to take any cause.

I stated my case, and I'm not going to argue. Why argue over sending money to charity? That's senseless. |

Re: Sean Taylor Magnetic Car Ribbon
Not trying to be a downer on a potentially noble cause...........but? I have noticed several such funds arising in the aftermath of the #21 tragedy.
We are not talking about someone without means. ST should, and probably does have several million $$$ laying around. Is his daughter not going to share in that in the form of support, education, etc? If so, why all the fundraising?
