SBF's Video Footage of Sean Taylor Tribute
Folks, I'm sorry. I wanted to do like a reporter's view of the day and the tribute but just could not. As I thought of things needed to be said they all made me want to cry. I had Elijah my 21 year old son I knew it was an emotional day for us both.
I decided to shut my mouth and just shoot what my eyes and ears were getting. The original footage is actually pretty crisp and clear but dummied down for the web it loses some visuals. The clip is about 8 minutes long of standing outside buy the #21 and then the Tribute. I have some stills to add as I go. I'm whipped. I've been a Redskins fan for over 30 years and this was a proud day. Sure my team didn't win on the scoreboard but the Redskins won with fans before the game. Check it out here if'n ya want.. Re: SBF's Video Footage of Sean Taylor Tribute
I finally just cried.
I was strong all day with Elijah but it all caught up with me. Hey, the guy singing the National Anthem is a friend of mine and goes to my Church. lol I missed his name but saw his face on big screen. I said "what's that guy's name Elijah? Is it..." and we both said Caleb Greene who sings for the Army. lol I took footage of that too. lol Like I said a HUGE miltary Transport flew over in 1st Quarter and Tips his Left wing at Stadium to Salute Taylor too. Many missed that... I didn't. It was a "dark" day yes but in family we have those and....cope. Hail Skins mike

We all got one of these.
I picked up one of these for Elijah and I from a bootlegger near the metro.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting that. That brought the tears right back. Man I wish I could have gone to the game today. I see why you are thankful to the Skins. They've been through an absurd amount of adversity. God bless them just for taking the field today. Miss you Sean.

As ya'll know Elijah my 21 year old son went thru all that Cancer, and I have posted many pics of he and I at Skins games since he was 4 years old. We remembered we last sat together [tho both have been to more games] was Sean Taylor's rookiie season against Minn. There are TONS off ST#21 highligyts from that game. Man what a great Father/Son day. Oh and he was toast from 2 all nighters and 4.5 hours of sleep all weekend and driving here and back to Richmond to VCU. lol Like Father like son.

Re: SBF's Video Footage of Sean Taylor Tribute
What an emotional day. It was not about a win or loss, it was about our boy Sean Taylor and remembering him. That video hits the spot so perfect and I think that Joe Gibbs really sums it up so well asking God to take care of Sean and that we will see him up there. I have watched the video like 10 times. I had to hold back my tears at the game too. I was there with my younger brother and I refused to let him see me cry. Thanks for the video post. It truely was a special day.
